सार

This paper examines the effectiveness of the Play way Method in early childhood education as a child-centred, activity-based approach that integrates learning with play. It explores the historical development, fundamental principles, benefits, challenges, and implementation strategies associated with the method. The study highlights how guided and free play support children’s cognitive, social, emotional, physical, linguistic, and creative development. Through active participation, exploration, cooperation, imagination, and problem-solving, children develop essential skills while experiencing enjoyment and motivation in learning. The paper also discusses concerns related to inadequate structure, assessment difficulties, curriculum alignment, teacher preparedness, and parental support. It argues that the method becomes most effective when teachers intentionally balance children’s autonomy with planned educational objectives and developmentally appropriate guidance. The study concludes that the Play way Method promotes holistic development, school readiness, confidence, lifelong learning, and positive attitudes toward education, provided that trained teachers, suitable resources, and supportive learning environments are available.
