Author Guidelines

The Academic Matrix International Journal welcomes original, unpublished, and high-quality scholarly manuscripts from researchers, academicians, teachers, professionals, practitioners, and students. Authors must carefully follow the guidelines given below before submitting their manuscripts.

1. Types of Manuscripts

The journal accepts the following categories of scholarly work:

  • Original Research Articles
  • Review Articles
  • Case Studies
  • Conceptual and Theoretical Papers
  • Short Communications
  • Book Reviews
  • Interdisciplinary and Multidisciplinary Studies

2. Originality of the Manuscript

The submitted manuscript must be original and must not have been published or submitted for publication elsewhere. Authors are responsible for ensuring that their work is free from plagiarism, duplicate publication, fabricated data, falsification, and other forms of academic misconduct.

3. Manuscript Preparation

Manuscripts should be prepared in Microsoft Word format using clear and academically appropriate language. The recommended formatting requirements are:

  • Paper size: A4
  • Font: Times New Roman
  • Font size: 12 points
  • Line spacing: 1.5
  • Text alignment: Justified
  • Margins: One inch on all sides
  • File format: Microsoft Word (.doc or .docx)

4. Structure of the Manuscript

A research manuscript should normally contain the following sections:

  1. Title of the Paper
  2. Name of the Author or Authors
  3. Institutional Affiliation
  4. Email Address and ORCID ID, where available
  5. Abstract
  6. Keywords
  7. Introduction
  8. Review of Literature
  9. Objectives or Research Questions
  10. Research Methodology
  11. Results and Discussion
  12. Conclusion and Recommendations
  13. Acknowledgements, where applicable
  14. Funding and Conflict-of-Interest Statement
  15. References

5. Title and Author Information

The title should be clear, concise, informative, and relevant to the content of the manuscript. The names, designations, departments, institutions, countries, email addresses, and ORCID IDs of all authors should be provided correctly. One author must be identified as the corresponding author.

6. Abstract and Keywords

The abstract should normally contain approximately 150 to 250 words and briefly describe the background, objective, methodology, major findings, and conclusion of the study. Authors should provide four to six relevant keywords immediately below the abstract.

7. Tables, Figures, and Illustrations

Tables and figures must be numbered consecutively and placed near the relevant discussion in the manuscript. Each table and figure should have a clear title or caption. Authors must ensure that all images, charts, diagrams, and illustrations are of good quality and that permission has been obtained for copyrighted material.

8. Citations and References

Authors should follow the latest edition of the APA referencing style unless another recognized citation style is more appropriate for the discipline. Every source cited in the text must appear in the reference list, and every source listed in the references must be cited in the manuscript. Authors are responsible for the accuracy and completeness of all references.

9. Research Ethics

Research involving human participants, animals, confidential information, or sensitive data must comply with relevant ethical and institutional requirements. Authors should provide details of ethical approval and informed consent wherever applicable. Personal or identifying information must not be published without appropriate permission.

10. Authorship and Contributions

Authorship should be limited to individuals who have made a significant academic contribution to the research and preparation of the manuscript. All authors must approve the final version of the manuscript and agree to its submission. Contributors who do not meet the criteria for authorship should be mentioned in the acknowledgement section.

11. Conflict of Interest and Funding

Authors must disclose any financial, institutional, professional, or personal conflict of interest that may influence the research. All sources of financial support, sponsorship, grants, or institutional assistance should be clearly acknowledged.

12. Use of Artificial Intelligence Tools

Artificial intelligence tools cannot be listed as authors. Authors remain fully responsible for the originality, accuracy, citations, interpretation, and integrity of the submitted manuscript. Any substantial use of artificial intelligence tools in writing, translation, analysis, image generation, or data processing should be disclosed transparently in the manuscript.

13. Peer-Review Process

All manuscripts undergo an initial editorial screening to assess their relevance, originality, quality, and compliance with journal guidelines. Suitable manuscripts are forwarded for peer review. Authors may be required to revise their manuscripts according to the comments and recommendations of reviewers and editors.

14. Revised Manuscripts

Authors submitting a revised manuscript should address all reviewer comments carefully. A separate response document should explain the changes made and provide justification for any recommendation that has not been followed. Revised portions may be highlighted for easy identification.

15. Copyright and Licensing

Authors must ensure that the submitted work does not violate the copyright or intellectual property rights of any person or organization. Authors are responsible for obtaining permission to reproduce copyrighted tables, figures, photographs, or other materials. Publication and licensing terms will be governed by the journal’s copyright and open-access policies.

16. Submission Checklist

Before completing the submission, authors should confirm that:

  • The manuscript is original and has not been submitted elsewhere.
  • The manuscript follows the prescribed formatting guidelines.
  • All authors have approved the final manuscript.
  • All citations and references have been checked carefully.
  • Tables and figures are properly numbered and titled.
  • Ethical approval and informed consent details are included where required.
  • Funding sources and conflicts of interest have been disclosed.
  • The manuscript has been proofread for language, grammar, and accuracy.
